NOW BOOKING IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL SESSIONS!!
the journey starts right now.
We're Glad You're Here.

With over 10 years as a private practice therapist, 8 years as a High School Counselor, and 2 years as an Adjunct Professor, Mitchel has seen it all on his journey with clients. A lifelong learner, a fan of tattoos and music, and a firm believer in the healing power of relationships, Mitchel and his team are excited to be on this journey with you.
We motivate others to discover personal growth and change in ways that feel comfortable and relaxed. Let's have some fun on the journey together. There are no constraints when it comes to therapy, wherever you are is the perfect place to start.
Mitchel utilizes trauma focused CBT, grief and loss approaches, solution focused, narrative therapies, resiliency, and Gottman approaches to support clients and couples with achieving goals.
We promise to provide a safe, comfortable, interactive space for you to engage in therapy supports that best meet your needs. Our commitment to clients is the foundation upon which our practice is built. We're excited to be on this journey with you and take your trust in us with the utmost respect.

Mitchel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (MN), a Licensed Professional Counselor (CO), a Licensed School Counselor, and Board Approved Supervisor for LPCs/LPCCs in MN and CO. He is licensed at the highest level to practice therapy in both Minnesota and Colorado. He holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Education & Supervision from Winona State University and has been in practice since 2015. Mitchel's practice involves individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief/trauma, life transitions, and more. Mitchel also works with families and couples in need of support, providing couple's therapy and family systems counseling to support improved relationships. In addition, he works as an Adjunct Professor in Counseling/Psych programs. He's covered in tattoos, probably writing new music (he's had a long career as a musician), or sneaking away to longboard around the city or hike and snowboard in the mountains.
For safety, to reduce access and equity barriers, and to give clients ultimate flexibility, we are currently seeing all clients via virtual methods (Zoom, etc). We will be opening a new office space for in-person sessions in the Denver metro very soon and are now booking in-person sessions!!
